Pottery by the Sea

£15.00Price

This unique pendant is made from reclaimed sea pottery from Seafield beach, Kirkcaldy.  It is set in a hand stiched bezel of tiny glass beads to reflect the sea washing around it.

The piece of pottery could be more than 100 years old!

David Methven & Sons Pottery, also known as the Links Pottery, was a prominent pottery and brickworks in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland, with a history spanning from the 18th century to the early 20th century when it stopped production in 1920. It was located near Seafield beach, and pottery shards and kiln waste from the works are often found washed up on the beach.
